PURPOSE
My mission is to use the healing and transformative power of the universe and the angelic realm to promote healing and the exchange of information between pets and their owners.
WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japan. The word Reiki is comprised of two parts. "Rei" meaning universal spirit and "ki" meaning energy. When you add the two words together you end up with "Reiki" which is a spiritually guided life force energy.
A body’s “ki” or energy ideally should be strong and free flowing when mind and body are in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.
That's when Reiki steps in to bring back balance. Reiki works by drawing energy from the universe and transferring this energy through the hands of the practitioner to another, which stimulates every body's natural ability to self-heal.
Reiki can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A session is pleasant, relaxing and calming and can be combined with other healing modalities (veterinary, chiropractic, etc.) for optimum effectiveness.

DOES MY PET REALLY WANT TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH ME OR HAVE THINGS TO TELL ME?
Yes, yes and yes! I can’t tell you how many times I get thanked by pets for listening to them and helping them communicate with their owners. Our pets are constantly trying to tell us things and sometimes we get it, but sometimes what they’re trying to say is less obvious. Or deep down we know what they want to tell us but are doubtful of what we’re feeling from them. That’s why it’s helpful to have a third party intervene. Someone who can have an unbiased conversation with them, without placing any fears or preconceived notions into the conversation is often the best way to get the information we need from our pets. Whether it’s about a health of behavioral issue, or if you just want to know how your pet thinks of his or her life, pets love to tell us how they’re feeling. Just think about it! Don’t you like when someone listens to your thoughts and concerns and takes them to heart? Our pets are no different!
WOULD MY PET REALLY WANT A REIKI SESSION?
Absolutely! Your pet may not know to ask for Reiki by name, however all animals are more in tune with the subtle energies than people are. Reiki is a subtle healing energy that all animals know and even utilize in their own worlds. A purring cat is using its own subtle energy as a healing method. This means that they are much more open and comfortable with this kind of healing than any other form we, as Westerners might consider. It wasn’t until after I began practicing Reiki on myself that I discovered my cats were loving it! Every time I say down to begin my Reiki practice, I noticed my cat Koto would appear next to me and would purr loudly until I was done.

I was referred to Alex by a co-worker after she helped locate her missing dog. My dog Iggy had been sick for a few weeks and when the medication that the vet had prescribed didn’t do much, I became very worried. Alex was able to reassure me that what was going on would just take some time to heal and she was also able to let me know that a previous injury that my dog had was still bothering him. It was incredible considering that I didn’t even tell her about the previous injury. She was able to communicate with Iggy and share information that there was no possible way for her to know about. I was shocked but at the same time very comforted knowing he would be ok. Alex was able to do Reiki on him as well and gave me some pointers on how to keep him comfortable. Throughout the process she was very caring and compassionate and even checked in several times to make sure that Iggy was still doing ok. The entire experience was amazing!

Alex was a LIFESAVER! The worst happened when I lost my dog in a thunderstorm. He chewed through the fence and I could not find him when I got home.
